For December 2025, renown producer and film maker, Quentin Tarantino, released the cult classic "Kill Bill" in theaters, merging both Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 into one feature film titled "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair". The movie consisted of extended and deleted scenes along with unseen animated sequences that weren't released in Vol. 1 or Vol. 2.
Although the release was a great gift to theaters, the fans still have one question that has been burning in their pockets for over 20 years; "Will we ever get a continuation of Nikki's story after her encounter with the Bride following the death of her mother, Genie Belle aka Vernita Green, aka Copperhead?"
For those of you who don't know the plot of Kill Bill, this dual part martial arts drama follows the journey of the deadly assassin Beatrix Kiddo, aka The Bride, aka Black Mamba, on a path of revenge against her former colleagues and former lover for not only crashing her wedding rehearsal, but leaving her for dead and in a coma for 4 years.

Vivica A. Fox Reflects on Challenging ‘Kill Bill’ Set Experience, Urges Flash-Back Role for Vol. 3
Veteran actress Vivica A. Fox, whose memorable turn as Vernita Green in Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill” films remains a highlight of her career, has shared fresh insight into her experience on set — and renewed her hopes for a third installment of the franchise.
In a recent interview, Fox recalled the intense production environment of the original films, admitting that she found the rigorous training and critical atmosphere “difficult but fun.”

She revealed a behind-the-scenes moment in which co-star Uma Thurman intervened after Fox challenged Tarantino’s harsh critique. “I turned into a little b-h and I said, ‘He’s not giving us any compliments and I’m tired of working so hard…’ And Uma said, ‘He can fire you.’ And that was all she had to say. I never complained again.”
Fox described the production as demanding: “We trained Monday through Friday … and then on Friday he would critique you.” She emphasized that while the experience demanded maximum performance, it taught her a valuable lesson about professionalism and maintaining her place on a high-pressure set.
Fun Facts
Her codename Copperhead fits Tarantino’s serpent theme for the DVAS.
Vivica A. Fox trained extensively in martial arts for the role.
There’s a hint that Nikki (Vernita’s daughter) might one day seek revenge on Beatrix—something Tarantino has said he considered for a potential Kill Bill Vol. 3.

As for the future of the “Kill Bill” saga, Fox remains ambitious. Though her character Vernita was killed off early in the original narrative, she told interviewers she would be ready to return for Kill Bill Vol. 3—even if only in a flash-back or training-the-next-generation scenario: “I know I got killed, but Quentin knows how to work things out. Maybe put me in a flash-back scene, training my daughter and then the two daughters can fight each other… then they can have a flash-back of the knife fight scene, you know, with me and Uma.”
Fox remains hopeful the filmmaker will heed the call: “People are hungry. Quentin [Tarantino], let’s go! I’ve been waiting.”
While there’s no official confirmation of a Vol. 3 yet, Fox’s reflections give fans both a deeper look at the original films’ behind-the-scenes tension and fresh optimism that the franchise may revisit its roots—with her back in some capacity.
